If a prescription is running out, it may mean you are due for a follow-up appointment. You can request a medication refill request through your pharmacy (they will fax our office a request), and book a follow-up visit with your doctor. Your doctor will fax the medication, if appropriate without an appointment, but prescription refills may take up to 10 days. Do not wait until your medication is running out.
Controlled substances such as narcotics or benzodiazepines are prescribed when indicated, in a cautious and responsible way, following prescribing guidelines. Please book an appointment if needing refills of these medications
