If a prescription is running out, have your pharmacy send us a refill request.
Your health is important to us. We want to be sure that your medication prescriptions are up to date. If a prescription is running out, it may mean you are due for a follow-up appointment. You can request a medication refill request through your pharmacy, and book a follow-up visit with your doctor. Your doctor will fax the medication, if appropriate without an appointment, but we ask that patients allow themselves plenty of time for prescription refills before medication runs out.
Controlled substances such as narcotics or benzodiazepines are prescribed when indicated, in a cautious and responsible way, following prescribing guidelines. Please book an appointment if needing refills of these medications.
